The ventilation shafts above rattle sporadically, as if something thin and fast were crawling through them, watching, waiting. A flickering security monitor on the wall shows grainy, looping footage of a room you haven't entered yet—except the feed has a two-second delay, and in the corner of the screen, something is standing behind you.
